Fiesta! Handmade Natural Jute Macrame Plant Hanger

Very similar to the Fiesta I made in February, 2010. One of my 1st set of macrame plant hangers I listed on Flickr.

This one is 60″ long, including the 16″ long fluffy tassel at the bottom.

The 3″ metal ring at the top has been upcycled from an old steel pipe that I had cut & slightly rusted with white vinegar.

I bought unfinished wood beads and dyed them with Rit dye, and then had them sprayed with a protective clear coat.

Chunky Chinese crown knots, and 6 long rows of alternating square knots and twisting sinnets.

Shown here with a 12″ basket, it will fit a 10-12″ pot.

The bottom row has (removable) green jute bows. Can also be added to the top beads to match.
